With the UPDATE service, you will send me what you currently use, and share any specific changes or style notes you would like to see. I’ll edit as needed and make sure you are totally satisfied with the result.
With the BRAND NEW service, we will chat about what credits, education, and experiences you have acquired, and I will use that to create a beautiful brand new resume for you.
What’s mine is now yours! This is the exact audition log template I have used for over 4 years. It has a few sample entries, so you can get a feel for it. (I use it on Google Sheets and keep it on my Drive, but you can use Excel, or any other platform you prefer.)
During a consultation, we’ll be realistic about what material you ACTUALLY use, and what can get the chop. Don’t worry, we won’t throw anything away! I will organize your new simplified book so it is easy for you and your accompanists to navigate, and the extra sheet music that you won’t need as often will be organized in a separate storage folder*, ready to whip out if you need something specific. I’ll also create and provide you a detailed log of all the sheet music you own, so you can reference it whenever you need. (*You provide the storage folder/binder for extra music. If you want the refreshed audition book to be in a new, clean binder, you provide the new binder as well.)
Creating your first audition book can be daunting! Let me help. During our consultation, we will discuss what songs you like to sing, and talk about the variation needed for a complete, well-rounded audition book. Once you have a good collection of material, I will collect or print, mark, and organize all of the music into a clean binder*, and make sure it is easy to navigate for you and your accompanists. (*You provide the binder!)
